A Note from Principal O’Neill

Posted March 22nd, 2010 by PTA

After last year’s Around the World in 80 Minutes, I thought to myself, how could this be topped? Well, after this past weekend’s performances of The 60s: It’s What’s Happening, you topped it and I can’t wait for next year!!!!!

The dedication, commitment, talent, and creativity of this community never ceases to amaze me. Your collaborative efforts have produced not only a spectacular show but amazing insights for us into your child’s talents and interests.

I am deeply grateful for your continued support of Clinton School and am so very happy that I remembered all the words to all the songs!!!!

Thank you all again,
Patty

Congratulations Clinton kids and community

The 60s: It’s What’s Happening

Posted March 19th, 2010 by PTA

The show opens tonight to a full house!

That’s right, we have no more seats left for Friday evening. There are still seats remaining for both of Saturday’s shows. The kids and volunteer parents have done an amazing job. You are really going to enjoy it!

To check your reservation (remember, no tickets, just reservations for the door), please see our list as of Wednesday.

As you enter the theater, you will see a donation jar. Donations will go toward the purchase of spotlights for future productions. We will also be selling flowers ($3-5) for you to purchase for your favorite cast and crew members. We will also have a few show t-shirts ($8), Clinton t-shirts ($12), and Clinton magnets ($5) for sale.

We are filming the Friday night show, and the DVDs will be sold for a nominal fee later in the spring. Please, no flash photography. It is very distracting for the kids on stage.

Also, each cast and crew member will receive their keepsake program before the last show. So if you like, you can place your gently-used programs in the bin on the way so they can be reused.

Just a reminder that on Friday, kids and adults alike are welcome to come dressed in their finest 60′s garb!

Thank you for your support of the Clinton Student Theatre!

Reservations for Clinton Show

Posted March 7th, 2010 by PTANews

We are opening up reservations this week for non-cast/crew families and to additional requests from families of cast/crew. Reservations (list at the door) will be on a first-come, first-served basis, so get those forms in! The deadline for all reservations is this Friday, March 12th.
In order to accommodate as many people as possible, we are asking that each individual attend only one show.
The show is FREE (though we will be collecting donations toward the purchase of spotlights), and show times are Friday, March 19th at 7 pm and Saturday, March 20th at 11 am and 3 pm.
60s

Children under 4 are asked to come to the dress rehearsal or Saturday morning’s 11am performance.

Additional forms are available in the school lobby and on the school and show websites.
