The Countdown Begins…

Posted August 18th, 2010 by PTA

Hope you are all enjoying the final weeks of summer. We have been busy preparing and planning for an amazing school year.

School starts in just 3 weeks. Some people have been asking about teacher assignments. Assignments are generally sent out a week before school starts; keep an eye on your mailbox.

Still need school supplies? Check out the list to the right for all supply lists.

Remember to stop by the cafeteria for the PTA Coffee immediately after drop-off on 9/7. Here you can sign up for PTA membership and volunteer opportunities.

Keep checking the website for more updates as we draw closer to the 1st day of school. Are you a facebooker? So are we, “like” us at Clinton Elementary.

Clinton PTA Reaches Membership Goal!

Posted December 14th, 2009 by PTANews

Thanks to the support of Clinton parents, teachers, and staff, the Clinton PTA Executive Board is delighted to announce that we’ve reached our membership goal for this school year. We are now 226 members strong!

It is the commitment, involvement, and constant collaboration of the various segments of our school community that makes Clinton such a special place. Our PTA does an amazing job of enriching the school experience for Clinton students. Whether through big initiatives (playground and climbing wall purchases, complete auditorium renovation), or the funding of an amazing array of cultural arts assemblies throughout the year, or the many events and programs the PTA sponsors, we have proven our ability to work together on behalf of Clinton School in positive, productive, and extremely creative ways.

If you’d like to read more about PTA initiatives, or join the PTA, if you haven’t already, visit the PTA page.

Thanks for your support and Happy Holidays!

Needed: a few more PTA members

We are only 13 members away from our goal of 225. PLEASE HELP US GET THERE!

Also, we have a limited quantity of 2010 ENTERTAINMENT BOOKS to sell ($20 EACH). With $20 of ShopRite coupons, it pays for itself very quickly. We only have 15 to sell so if you’d like one, you can purchase it this evening at our general PTA meeting.

November PTA meeting

Posted November 16th, 2009 by PTA

Please join us for our second General PTA Meeting of the year on Thursday, November 19th, at 7:15 pm in the Clinton School Auditorium (enter through the parking lot).

Come find out all the latest school news and hear from our guest speaker, third-grade teacher Joe Ferriero, who will be making a presentation on the pilot program involving iPod Touches and MacBooks for third graders.

And while you’re at the meeting you can join the PTA (if you haven’t
already) or buy a Clinton T-shirt. Babysitting for children ages 4 and over will be provided. See you on the 19th!

Are you a member yet?

We’re 2/3 of the way to meeting our membership goal of 225 people! And if you join by 10/15 (just one week left!), you will be eligible to win one of several prizes that have been donated by great local businesses.

Completing the form and writing the check is the first step to becoming part of this committed, proactive, and creative force. Our PTA works rigorously to provide valuable resources and services to Clinton students, parents, and staff, and we are dedicated to reaching every family in our wonderfully diverse community. Whether we are volunteering in classrooms and at school events, fundraising, creating enriching programs for our students, maintaining an awesome cultural arts assembly program, purchasing items—both big and small, or advocating for our school, our students, and our staff, our work has a major impact on many aspects of the Clinton School experience.

Please support the PTA by sharing your ideas, responding to calls for volunteer opportunities, and to committing yourself to making Clinton School a special place for every single student in the building.

Another simple and inexpensive way to help is to make your membership official ($12 per person) by completing this form.

You can return the form and payment in your child’s backpack (ATTN:
