Clinton School Winter Craft Fair/We Need Your Help

Posted November 8th, 2010 by PTA

This year’s Winter Craft Fair is on Saturday, December 4th from 11am – 2pm.

The Winter Craft Fair at Clinton School is a unique event where families come and make crafts that they can give as presents OR keep for themselves! It takes a wonderful group of volunteers to make this event as special as it is.

There are different levels of help we need for the fair. If you’d like to be part of the committee that brainstorms the crafts and then gets the materials ready for the day of the craft fair, we’d love to have you! This level of help just takes 2 fun meetings, one where we brainstorm and one where we prep craft supplies and then hopefully, you’ll also be able to come to the Winter Craft Fair on December 4th!

If you’d just like to help on the day of the craft fair we need you, too! You can help for a one hour shift, or you can help for 3 hours.

Contact Leah Gomberg here if you’re interested.

This is a wonderful event and the crafts that are produced are truly one of a kind AND impressive.

As always, thank you for your support of Clinton PTA!

This year’s Student Theatre Production is going to be ‘A Night At The Movies’. To achieve this and build on last year’s success we need plenty of volunteers, directors, assistant directors, musicians, set builders, costume makers, sales people, the list goes on. By giving a little or a lot of your time, you will be ensuring that our children will be immersed in an enriching, rewarding and fun project.

Listed below are the show themes. Please consider volunteering your time to be one of our directors or assistant directors. Some of the themes have been taken but several are still available. You will also fin a list of other positions that need to be filled. If you do wish to direct please give us times you would be able to rehearse. In past years we have held rehearsals straight after school ends, early evenings and Saturday mornings at the DeHart Center, all these are subject to availability.

Pumpkin Patch/Need Plastic Bottles

Posted October 12th, 2010 by PTA

Our Pumpkin Patch is fast approaching. See complete details below.

We still need more volunteers, so please consider lending us a hand that day.

Also, we need empty plastic bottles with caps. They can be brought into school this week at any time (there is a clearly marked receptacle in front hallway). They will be used to make instruments at our Pumpkin Patch that will be handed out to our students when they march in the Halloween Parade on Friday, October 29th.

All Pumpkin Patch details here:

Join us on Saturday, October 16th, from 11 am to 2 pm, when we turn the Clinton School front lawn into our very own pumpkin patch. For $4 you can purchase and decorate a pumpkin and enjoy a freshly picked apple and a cup of cider (or you can buy three pumpkins for $10).
We’ll also have savory and sweet treats for sale. If it rains, we’ll be in the cafeteria.

If you can help out that day or make something for our bake sale, contact Lindy Romaine here or Leah Gomberg here
