Jerseys from Jersey/Please Donate Used Soccer Uniforms

Posted November 17th, 2010 by PTA

Now that the fall soccer season is over, Jerseys from Jersey is again collecting MSO Kickers / Cougar soccer / South Mountain Soccer jerseys. Jerseys from Jersey collects used, washed soccer uniforms and works with organizations to distribute them to children in Bangladesh, China, and Nepal.

For the next two weeks, you can drop your jerseys (and have a cup of great coffee!) at Kari’s Café on Springfield Avenue/Prospect Street in Maplewood.

And at Clinton School, there is also a collection bin inside the front door of the school.

For more information and to see some video and photos of the kids, please visit jerseysfromjersey.org or “like” us on Facebook.

Thank you for your support!

REMINDER – March with Clinton School on Monday!

Posted May 29th, 2010 by PTA

March with Clinton School in the Memorial Day Parade, Monday, May 31!
Our theme this year is “Clinton Celebrates Diversity,” and we have a fabulous new float! We will assemble at the Columbia High School Student Parking Lot at 8:15 AM. Every child must be accompanied by an adult. One adult can take responsibility for more than one child, but children may NOT be dropped off alone at the point of assembly. Please wear a Clinton School shirt, or a red shirt.

Earth Day and International Dinner!

Posted April 21st, 2010 by PTA

There’s a lot going on at Clinton tomorrow (Thursday, April 22).

At 2pm we’ll have our second annual Earth Day Hat Parade. Our students will march around the outside of the building, wearing hats they’ve made out of recycled materials. If you’re around and want to stop by and watch, please do!

And tomorrow evening the PTA is hosting our wildly popular International Dinner.
The dinner will take place from 6:15-7:45 PM in the Clinton School cafeteria. All children need to be accompanied and attended by an adult throughout the evening.

What a great green morning!
