Clinton Thanks our Local Businesses for their Support!

Posted December 21st, 2010 by PTA

Perch Home, [words] bookstore and Sparkhouse Kids have been great supporters of Clinton School. In November, Clinton parent and owner of Perch Home, Michele Bessey, invited us to the second annual exclusive shopping day. In keeping with Michele’s impeccable taste, the shop was transformed into a holiday wonderland and the Clinton community shopped till they dropped! Michele generously donated $500, which was beyond the 20% of purchases. Thank you Michele and the Perch Home team!

[words] Maplewood’s Bookstore held a week long “Support Your School” event in the first week of December. They also promised 20% of sales, which amounted to over $130!

Most recently, Sparkhouse Kids in South Orange held a Clinton Shopping Day. It was another successful event with 10% of sales totaling over $120!

The PTA thanks these wonderful local businesses for supporting our school, and we extend our great appreciation to the Clinton School families who shopped locally this holiday season. This is just another example of great partnerships making great communities. Thank you for your participation!
