Pumpkin Patch will be in Cafeteria

Posted October 14th, 2011 by PTA

Due to the wet days we’ve had, we will be holding our Pumpkin Patch in the cafeteria tomorrow (10/15 from 11 to 2 pm). The front lawn is likely to be muddy.

Please enter the building through the cafeteria entrance (near the parking lot). The front doors will not be open.

See you tomorrow!

There are going to be great pumpkin decorating crafts at the Pumpkin Patch this Saturday. We could use some supplies, here is what we need:

Magazines/Catalogs

Doodads from your junk drawer such as plastic hang tags, zippers, buttons, rubber bands, magnets, measuring spoons, pot scrubbers, bottle caps, shoe laces, etc.

If you have any of these items please send them in a bag marked “Pumpkin Patch Supplies” with your child or place them in the front hall in the bucket.

Don’t miss the Clinton PTA Pumpkin Patch.

Join us on Saturday, October 15th, from 11 am to 2 pm, when we turn the Clinton School front lawn into our very own pumpkin patch. For $5 you can purchase and decorate a pumpkin and enjoy a freshly picked apple and a cup of cider (or you can buy three pumpkins for $12). We’ll also have savory and sweet treats for sale. If it rains, we’ll be in the cafeteria. If you can help out that day or make something for our bake sale, contact Lindy Romaine at 973-762-4703 or nyeromaine@gmail.com

“A Night at the Movies”: Important Fundraising Efforts

Posted March 24th, 2011 by PTA

For the Friday and Saturday performances, we will be selling flowers, Clinton School shirts and NEW bumper magnets for just $5.

After each of the Saturday shows, the PTA and local Japanese families will be fundraising to aid the relief efforts in Japan. Based on the ancient story, which states that anyone who makes 1000 origami paper cranes will be granted their wish, Maplewood parent, Mihori Tada has been folding paper cranes on behalf of Clinton and our wish for the people of Japan.

On Saturday, for just $1, you can write your name on a paper crane.
The cranes will be displayed at Clinton School in May for Asian Heritage Month, then they will be sent to an elementary school in Japan.

Paper cranes, as well as water bottles, juice boxes and baked treats will be available after each of the Saturday performances, with 100% of the proceeds going towards earthquake and tsunami relief efforts in Japan.

Thank you for supporting Clinton School.
