PAC
The Parent Advisory Committee (PAC) provides a forum for interaction between the principal and parents. There are two representatives for each grade who contact Principal O’Neill when necessary. Parents not on the committee may submit items for discussion through any committee member. PAC items should focus on Clinton School issues, as this is where the most impact can be made. Classroom issues should first be discussed with the classroom teachers. District-wide issues, though certainly relevant to the school, are generally beyond the scope of the PAC. The goal is to develop action plans to address concerns of the Clinton community when necessary. Please remember that the PAC members are your representatives; if you have any issues you would like discussed, please contact one of the members below or your child’s class parent(s).
The PAC representatives meet twice monthly with Ms. O’Neil through email or in person at a time convenient for all parties. Any issues you have brought to the representatives will be presented in anonymity, which is a great advantage for many. PAC allows multiple messages about a single issue to be heard raising the level of their importance to school leadership. As a result, PAC representatives along with administrators can develop action plans to address concerns of the Clinton Community.
Please contact your grade representative with any concerns (good or bad) at any time throughout the year. After speaking with administrators, your PAC representative will report back to you any outcomes.
