Less than a month until school begins!

We hope you are all having a wonderful summer.
Here are a few back to school dates for your calendar:
On Wednesday, September 2nd, pre-ordered school supply kits will be available for pick-up in the Clinton School cafeteria from 4-7 pm. We will also be selling Clinton t-shirts, magnets, and rainbow posters.
Please enter school through cafeteria entrance. If you didn’t order a school kit, but want to get a jump on buying supplies, check out the supply lists.
There is no supply list for kindergarten. Very few items are needed and your child’s teacher will give you more information on this during the first few days of school.
Thursday, September 3rd, is the first day of school. Don’t forget our new school hours. Teachers will come out and welcome the children to school when the first bell rings at 8:00 am, second (late) bell rings at 8:05. (Dismissal is at 2:35 pm.) After you drop off your child, please come to the cafeteria for the PTA’s First Day Coffee. You can join the PTA, buy Clinton t-shirts, sign up to be a class parent, meet some new friends and say hello to old ones. PLEASE DON’T ENTER THE SCHOOL WITH YOUR CHILD AND WALK THROUGH TO THE CAFETERIA. IT IS BEST TO WALK OUTSIDE THE SCHOOL AND AROUND TO THE CAFETERIA ENTRANCE IN THE PARKING LOT. THIS WILL MAKE THE HALLWAYS MUCH CALMER AS TEACHERS GREET THE CHILDREN AND GET THEM SETTLED INTO THEIR CLASSROOMS.
Friday, September 4th, is our first School Pride Day. Have your child wear their Clinton t-shirt or any red shirt.
And mark your calendar for Wednesday, September 9th, at 6:30 pm, when we’ll host our Annual Ice Cream Social. Held in the playground on the side of the school, you can buy ice cream that is scooped by Clinton teachers. The kids love this event and it’s a really nice way to welcome new students and their families.
