LocoMania big success!

Posted Friday, June 12, 2009 by PTA.

Thanks to everyone for making LocoMania such a wonderful event. The Clinton kids danced, skipped, and walked their way around the Underhill Field Track, and had a blast!

Thanks to Mr. Lehman and Ms. Freede for taking charge of the day. It’s easy to see why they are so popular with our kids. Their energy, enthusiasm, and sense of fun are much appreciated.

Thanks to Jeremy Moss for his excellent DJing and his willingness to be a part of all things Clinton.

Thanks to all the parent volunteers who helped organize the day, hand out water, and cheer on our kids.

Thanks to Steven Davenport for coming in that day to take our second annual Rainbow Photo (which will be available as a poster very soon).

And thanks to Leah Gomberg for spearheading the whole project and seeing it through from start to finish and to Liz Salituri for keeping the paperwork and payments organized.

We raised close to $2000 and the money will be spent to benefit our physical education program. One of the items that will be purchased is a sound system for the gymnasium which will be a huge help for general P.E classes (the gym acoustics are awful) and also for special events and physical education activities that require sound/music.
